Abstract
Neuromuscular Orthodontics and the traditional approach to orthodontics differ both in terms of practical and conceptual aspects. In this lecture, the main goal is to highlight the differences between physiological and non-physiological neuromuscular procedures. The primary objective of Neuromuscular Orthodontics is to maintain the function of the TMJ and ensure the stability of muscle function.
Throughout the lecture, various case presentations will be discussed briefly, giving attendees an opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the differences between the two approaches. By the end of the lecture, participants will have a clearer understanding of the importance of proper neuromuscular procedures in orthodontics, as well as the critical role of TMJ function and muscle stability.
Overall, this lecture promises to be an informative and valuable experience for anyone interested in understanding the nuances of Neuromuscular Orthodontics and how it differs from the classical approach.
