Abstract

Today neuromuscular dentist could not imagine his practice without using a surface EMG. But do we really sure that our data is precise enough. We have such perfect instrument to measure masticatory muscle activity, but what part of that data we really use in diagnosis and treatment? Through multiple examinations of patients with different craniomandibular disorders we got a significant result. We would like to introduce updated EMG protocol which was developed on the basis of data from more than two hundred patients in last ten years.
